U.S. Tournament Poker > TABLE TALK

Phil Helmuth, self proclaimed, "Brat boy of poker" recently made the rounds at the local Portland cardrooms promoting a new book & generally getting in the limelight. We caught up with him at the Double Tree at Lloyd center at the final table of his tournament promotion. He was narrating the play & giving the unknown players nicknames like" toothpick guy", "necklace lady", "joey's pick" & a few more. He was on the microphone talking trash, but we were unable to get pix. David Foster & R. P. did get in the action at Biddy's the nite before but didn't quite take down the main prize. They did get some pix with the "Brat" & Brandon Cantu.

Jordan Rich has also been seen playing at the USTP Gemini game on Tuesdays with David Foster. Good company to be keeping on both parts. If you didn't know, Jordan is probably one of the big northwest finishers, money wise, in pro circuit play, WSOP, WPT & other circuit events. Currently lives in Lake Oswego & will drop into the Gemini for a little fun play once in a while. We will try to get some pix of Jordan as well.

Brian Klupenger also got a little visit with Helmuth & an autographed book.!  We'll get a picture of Brian with Phil soon!
